What is a conjunction?
A conjunction is a joining word. It links words or parts of a sentence together.
I wanted to play outside but it was raining.
Choose the one that shows the right meaning

Memory hook: the short joining words are FANBOYS: For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So.
Watch out! A sentence can start with Although, Because, When or If, but then it needs a comma after the first part: Although it was freezing, we went for a swim.
